We went to Jamaica for a wedding for Scotts brother. This was the first time I've ever been out of the country. I actually had to buy my first passport to go on this trip, which means Jamaica was my first stamp!
We had such an amazing time and I'm glad I got to meet all the people I did because I felt so comfortable around them. Scott and I were really looking forward to this. I was going to get to meet a lot of family members I havent had the pleasure of meeting yet. I was really excited to stay at a fancy all inclusive hotel. It's been really amazing to get to hang out with the people Scott grew up with. Everyday I realize more than the day before how amazing this journey has been with him so far.
The wedding was very pretty and simple. Very close friends and family attended. It was really nice and low key too. We got to go swimming before because the wedding wasn't until about 4:00pm.
Scott has got to be one of the best dancers I have ever seen in my entire life. I'm pretty sure everyone at the reception was in awe over his sweet dance moves. Just watching him exhausted me haha. We soaked up the sun, I sipped on some frozen tropical alcoholic beverages with his sister Kim, and sister-in-law Jennifer. I got to order 24 hour room service and take a bath in this huge tub.
Jennifer had asked what my favorite part was and I have to say it was when we all got together and just hung out talking till like 2am. I'm just glad that I'm marrying into such cool people guys.
